Pergo-Line Terrace-Awning
Solamagic Heaters
Situated in one of Manchester's trendiest suburbs, Chorlton institution The Lead Station, wanted an awning to showcase their brand and raise the bar’s profile, whilst giving clients the opportunity to relax outdoors within the busy, fashionable Beech Road area. Having known of JR for years, owner, Nick DeSousa, decided it was the right time to invest in their outdoor area. This was a project that local resident Matthew Garnett was keen to win...
Upon initial site meeting and brief, Martin Latham specified a 3.6m (w) x 4.2m (p) Pergo-Line terrace awning system, with Solamagic heater’s for a little extra evening warmth. This gave the operator a better flexability for more robust coverage, whilst meeting budget expectations, during inclement weather conditions.
Two concreate pads were required to be set for the front legs of the system, in addition to the electrical requirements for both the funtionality of the awning and heaters. This was all scheduled and completed within the first agreed installation date. A second date was confirmed to install the systems, after the fixings had set and were ready.
The project was completed over a two day period, with minimum disruption to the client or the operation of the business, creating an additional 15m2 of dynamic, operation space.
