Joseph Holt Brewery: The Melville, Stretford

The team behind The Melville, a popular Stretford pub, wanted to enhance their offering with a new awning system on the building’s façade, which would complement the internal refurbishment.

James Robertshaw installed two new 7m awnings. In typically unpredictable British weather, the awnings provide protection and a well-designed, comfortable outdoor eating and drinking area; they also offer shade from the sun on those luckier summer days!

Using the latest vibration sensor technology, the awnings are automatically sensitive to gusts and breezes, and intuitively retract to prevent damage. They are also accessorised with advanced quartz halogen outdoor heating lamps, which keep customers snug on colder days.
